Stone Pyramid began in the basement.
Dave Merrill, who has worked with bands around Cincinnati, Ohio
for many years, brought some tapes of original melodies to Wayne
Adkins. Wayne tried to work up some bass parts for the melody
lines and soon they were creating new music. Dave enlisted the
help of a group of songwriters called “Third Person”
, a local hard rock band named “Leap Skyward”, and a
blues/rock band called “Rocket Science”. The result
is a c.d. entitled “On The Run”.
On the second c.d., “Untitled”,
Dave and Wayne worked with Bob West on guitar and Buddy Byers
on bass.
